The OpenIMP Auth Application server is the primary Auth mechanism for all other OpenIMP applications. For third party applications it provides the following functionality:
An OAuth 2.0 authentication strategy authenticates users using a third-party account and OAuth 2.0 tokens. Client application configuration and integration are described here.
The Auth application issues JWTs signed with the RSA512 algorithm for authorisation. More information about the JWT verification is here.
Once the client application has the OAuth2 token, it can use the following user-related services:
